!!! Updates for Jeronimo !!!

Jerónimo is a 10-year-old boy from Santa Bárbara, with a noble spirit and a genuine desire for self-improvement. He describes himself as a child who has changed for the better thanks to the home's support, becoming a more respectful and polite person. His favorite foods are "salchipapa" and spaghetti. He has a brilliant imagination, as his greatest wish would be to be able to fly. He feels deeply grateful to the volunteers and thanks them for everything they have given and for helping the children at the home.

Jerónimo arrived at Hogar de Cristo after a period of significant family instability. Since 2020, he was under his uncle's care, but due to conflicts between his parents and his maternal grandparents' advanced age, Jerónimo lacked a consistent caregiver who could guarantee his well-being. This situation resulted in him spending several years out of school. Since his relatives were unable to enroll him or provide the necessary care due to work commitments, Jerónimo joined the foundation a year ago, finally finding the educational and emotional stability he needed.

What's new in school? Jerónimo greatly values having resumed his studies at the foundation. His favorite subject is Spanish, and he shows a positive and renewed attitude toward learning. For him, returning to a school environment has been a fundamental part of his process of change, demonstrating an interest in improving himself and becoming a better person every day through education.

What does he do after school? He is a very active boy who enjoys group interaction. He enthusiastically participates in social games like "tag" (chucha cogida) and other dynamics where he can run and share with his friends. He has used his time at the foundation to work on his personal growth, learning values such as respect and the importance of acting correctly in his daily life.

What are his sports and hobbies? His great passion is riding his bike and playing soccer, a sport he dreams of playing professionally in the future. His favorite places at the home are the sports field, where he channels his energy, and the dining hall. He has a special connection with animals, with his favorite pet being Sam, the small, white, and fluffy dog at the foundation.
